Who I am
Hi! I’m Chandra. I’m a 50 year old who found herself having to find a new job. I have a degree in IT, and have worked in the industry for 20+ years. The past several years the job search and job market has changed dramatically. I am not sure if I need to zig or zag. I am petrified of the idea of trying to find a job.
I know if I want to show my skills why am a using templated WordPress. Well, this is just a blog for me. It isn’t for me to show my skills. It is for me to reflect.
This isn’t easy. I have been in leadership fo so many years, and I have watched things change. I know what I can offer any company willing to give me a chance. Issue is right now many companies have had to layoff because of money. I have always worn so many hats as a female in IT. I have learned I prefer small startups because of how your team is a family. I know what I can offer, but the search is daunting. So I create this to document my journey.
